Rangers Collapse in Third
The Kitchener Jr Rangers MD Red team lost 4 to 1 to the Cambridge Hawks Sunday night.

The Rangers got off to the start they wanted with Connor Coughlin scoring in the first period. But the lead was short lived and never regained by the Rangers. Coughlin had the player of the game for the second straight game and worked extremely hard for the Rangers.

In the third period the Rangers had a tough time protecting the front of the net and clearing their zone. With the Rangers allowing several second and third attempts on net the Hawks took advantage and were able to get three unanswered goals.

The lose was the Rangers third of the playoffs but the Rangers still hold onto second in the standing. With four games left to play the Rangers need to work hard and pay attention to details moving forward. The coaches are confident the team will learn from the adversity and continue to play good hockey and move towards their goal and be successful when it matters most.

Go Rangers!
