The Major Peewee MD Red tryouts wrapped up this morning with a well-played game vs Woodstock.
At this time, I would like to sincerely thank the players who played their hearts out during the last 2 weeks.
The skill level shown was very high and it was evident that these players were there to compete and to try and earn a spot on the team.
Some extremely difficult decisions had to be made...but when the dust finally settled, the 2018-2019 team was chosen...and it's now full steam ahead.
To those players who are continuing on with the Blue team...good luck tomorrow and I'm sure we'll be seeing you around the arenas. (Coach Brian has asked that you be at the rink for 10:30 am)
For those players who have been selected to play on the MD Red team...a huge CONGRATULATIONS to you all!!
Your dedication, hard work, and perseverance has paid off...and you all are deserving of your spot.
A special thank you to all of the volunteer coaches who helped on the benches and with the evaluations...and to Emma and Shawna for helping to make the tryouts run so smoothly....
Thanks again to all...and let the season begin!
