The team took to the ice on the weekend of Nov. 23-25, participating in their 3rd tournament of the season....the MD Challenge Cup in Burlington.
Beginning play on Friday, the boys displayed some real creativity earning their first win over the Orangeville Flyers.
On Saturday, the team played 2 more games against the home town Burlington squads, and came away with 2 more victories...while only allowing 1 goal over that span.
With a strong showing during the round-robin portion, and securing a 3 Win and 0 Loss record, the team booked their ticket directly into the final on Sunday.
Squaring off in a re-match vs Burlington Red in the championship game, the boys battled through quite a bit of adversity...but remained "classy"...and pulled off a 5-1 victory!
Congratulations boys... for earning your 2nd tournament championship of the season!!
