West Weekend
Submitted By Brian Perry on Tuesday, November 26, 2019

Saturday we took the long trip to Sarnia for a back and forth game that had many penalties and not many shots to make Sarnia work in their own zone,  the boys played much of the game 4-5, 3-5, 4-4 or 3-4 but they hung on for a well deserved 1-0 win.

Sunday we went back down the 401 west to the Western Fair Centre to play the Bandits where again it was a very testy and hostile game that gave us a few long term injuries to deal with.  The boys were victorious with a 2-0 game and well deserved.  The refs did extremely well as the Bandits bench and spectators made it very stressful for the men in stripes for all three periods.

The boys rolled up their sleeves this weekend and completed what they had to do as this was a weekend with a target on their backs to lose one of those games, but they were determined, classy and business like for both games and deserved both wins.

Tremendous goaltending with 2 shutouts and a superb defensive effort by the players,

Great job Red, very proud of you this weekend,

Coaching Staff
